Dear Colleagues:
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the biannual International Workshop on the Molecular Biology of the Stress Response organized by the Cells Stress Society International (CSSI). The workshop will be held in the beautiful city of Porto Alegre, Brazil May 27–30, 2012. This meeting is primarily targeted to students, potsdocs, and investigators from Latin America as part of the development of the Latin American Chapter of CSSI. Past workshops were extremely successful in establishing collaborations among researchers from different parts of the world and are a great avenue for students to continue with their education. Moreover, it is a splendid opportunity to learn more about CSSI and our journal Cell Stress and Chaperones.
The workshop will begin with an educational program directed at participants with little or no knowledge of the cell stress field. It then continues with scientific sessions consisting of presentations by invited speakers and participants. In addition, the meeting will have poster presentations and ample opportunities to mingle with other participants during several social activities.
